It is about a pimp, Plato, king of the streets until he meets Katherine Baker.
He's been top dog for ten years. But he's thirty-two and tired of keeping the hos in line, tired of his family’s disapproval, tired of the loneliness of the life. Why can’t life be easy like it is for white folks?
Katherine Baker, a white college girl from a rich family, has her own problems. She hates school and her parents, and dreads the life that’s been mapped out for her.
A college project brings Katherine into Plato’s world. When they meet, they are drawn them together.
How could they imagine that their love affair would lead to tragedy?

Comments: Hey there everyone,
My name is Laura Del and I am the author of "Graveyard Shifts: A Pat Wyatt Novel", which is available on Amazon, BarnesandNoble.com, and CreateSpace. It is about a woman named Pat Wyatt who is sent on an assigment to find the best diners in New York. Except she doesn't want to do it alone. Recruiting her best friend Christina Iglesias to join her, she sets out on her fateful mission, completely oblivious to what lies ahead.
When a handsome stranger walks through the doors of the last diner of the day, Pat is not impressed with the striking man, and quickly leaves the restaurant…only to be followed out by the attractive mystery man.
Following a whirlwind of marriage proposals and Hamptons’ mansions is the creeping recognition that everyone seems to be afraid of her new husband and that he might not be as perfect as he seems...
Thank you so much for your support. You ROCK!

Comments: I decided to write "Combat Ready" when I heard a sermon with an illustration that used boot camp to compare to Christian life. The problem was the speaker had never been to boot camp. So I Started writing and a year and a half later I was finished. Now I have a comprehensive book that shows veterans that they are uniquely qualified to be Christians.
It is now available on Amazon, Nook, Kobo, iTunes, or anywhere else you buy books from online. It's available in ebook, paperback or hardcover. It's also available in a few stores in SW Michigan. I have my own blog, web site, Facebook page, Twitter account trying to get the word out. I look forward to getting to know fellow authors and avid book readers.

Comments: This is simply wonderful Ia,I hope the site and the guestbook contribute to the success you deserve to have.
If you wouldn't mind a mention of That Friday, a new steamy romance by me and Ayla Page, that would be lovely. The blurb is below.
Love long thought lost is rekindled in this; the first day of a weekend of passion and romance. Will everything be the way Charlie and Tess have dreamed it? Will their love, never previously expressed, be as strong in person as it is when they're apart? A steamy novella, day one of 'That Weekend'.
Admin reply: Hello Karl, Will give it a shout out. Best wishes!
